Elisabeth Christie is a versatile performance artist who strives to promote thought, joy, and awareness through her craft.
As an actor Elisabeth has had the privilege of appearing in a wide range of both plays and musicals. Some of her favorite works are: Hairspray, A Raisin In The Sun, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Singin In The Rain, and Almost, Maine. As a dancer, she appeared in three dance concerts with Theatre UCF. As a director, she has worked on the musical Oklahoma!, and the play Of Mice And Men. As a choreographer, her work was seen in Leonard Bernstein’s MASS at the Dr. Phillip’s Center.
Elisabeth graduated from the University of Central Florida with a major in Theatre (BFA Musical Theatre track) and a minor in Dance in 2018.
Since arriving in Orlando, she became a cast member at Universal Orlando Resort. She was seen dancing in the Macy's Holiday Parade, and running around as Sleepy Who in Grinchmas! She performed as a performance intern at Maine State Music Theatre, where she was seen in seven different productions. Elisabeth proudly received a KCACTF nomination for her work as Assistant Director for Theatre UCF’s production of Of Mice And Men. For her senior showcase, UCF Dream Roles Concert, she performed as Anita from West Side Story. More recently, she was seen dancing in The Wild Party, and taking taking the stage in Garden Theatre’s production of Flashdance! She is excited to begin rehearsals for Orlando Shakes’ production of Evita!
One of Elisabeth’s greatest passions is food. In her spare time, she runs a foodstagram titled @bougielunchables. It’s an instagram dedicated to gluten-free meal prepping that is delicious and affordable! She is also an avid comic book geek (a DC fan), and loves traveling to Cons and debating superhero films!.
